Boone Shopping
 The High Country area of Western North Carolina allows for numerous
activities for your vacation. Going shopping in the High
Country is a favorite thing to do for many that come to this area.
The shopping in Boone and Blowing Rock is a mix of eclectic shops,
galleries and vendors with each new stop. Be sure to check out
some of these wonderful shopping spots.
Downtown Boone offers plenty to visitors with the Shoppes at
Farmer's Hardware, Mast General Store Downtown, Wilcox Emporium,
and the many other shops that are located along King Street, Hardin
Street, and Howard Street. Downtown Boone has the unique feel
that only a college town can have, and with each turn you'll see
both students and locals shopping, eating and interacting, all in
this fun mixed atmosphere. There are also quite a few vintage
and second hand shops downtown, they are the perfect spot for
finding antique items and unique clothes.
In the center of Boone you'll find the Boone Mall, which is newly
renovated with more stores and eateries. In Boone Mall you can
shop at Belk, JC Penny, Old Navy, and many other options. For
more shopping fun, take a short trip to Blowing Rock where you'll
find many shops downtown and many brand name outlets at the Tanger
Outlets Shoppes on the Parkway. At Tanger you can enjoy
shopping at Polo Ralph Lauren, Banana Republic, PacSun, and over 30
others. The outlet mall/stores are also a visitor favorite, so
be sure to make time.
